NEW ZEALAND BOXERS Rec. Aug. 11, 7.55 p.m. LOS ANGELES, Thursday. The New Zealander, Lowe, met the German, Bernlohr in the middleweight section. The German had a clear advantage in height and reach. He took the offensive in the first round, finishing Lowe with swift right hooks. Constant pummelling opened a cut under Lowe's mouth and the in- ! jury proved troublesome throughout the fight. Lowe seemed to lack energy j and enterprise. j Bernlohr employed the eroueh in ! the third round from which position | he shot swinging stabs to Lowe's jaw. !
