GOOD SCORES RECORDED The usual we;kly shoot of the Rotorua Lad.es' .rx.niature Rifle Club was held at the Drill Hall on Tuesday night, when some good scores were registered. Th \ ■ following is the list of those who made 50 or over otF the rifle. Possible score 70: — Miss V. Ferguson 64, Miss R. Owens 62, Miss M. Worrall 61, Miss M. Pike 60, Miss M. Yuill 60, Miss D. Adolph 56, Miss M. West 56, Miss M. Bates 56. Weekly Button Winners: — A Grade: „\!iss V. Ferguson; B Gi*ade: Miss R. Owens; C Grade: Miss M. Bates. j. Grade: Miss I. Anderson. A good performance was put up by Miss V. Ferguson, who scored 61 for tho shoot, and then fired to make up a shoot for the previous w ek when she got 63. Miss Ferguson had then to fire off a tie for a weekly button with 1 Miss D. Adolph, 'Which proved a very exciting match, right up to the last shot, when Miss Adolph won with 64, Miss Ferguson ag.ain scoring 63. Miss Ferguson is to be ccmplimented for putting up over 60 on three occasions in one night.
