: RESULTS GF ROTORUA CLUB'S MEN'S WEEKLY SHOOT POCTAL MATCH LOST The men members of the Rotorua Miniature Rifle Club held their usual ' weekly shoot at the drill hall on Monday night, 45 members attending. and some vcT'y good scores were put up. Following is the list of thost who obtained 60 or over olf the rille. Possible score 70: — W. Bates, 67; E. Adolph, 67; G. Weir, 66; W. Winslade, 66; J. McAkes, 66; W. Donaldson, 66; R. Grant, 65; L. Dornbush, 64; H. Whitiey, 63; F. Stewart, 63; H. Hardcastle, 62; H. Hall, 61; W. Hay, 60. Posial Match A postal match was fired against Whangarei on Thursday last, the eonditions being: Two optional sighters, eig'ht shots to count, possible score 80. The Rotorua team did very poorly, nearly every member shooting be'.ow form. Our targets have not. been retuined from Whangarei yet, but tho approxirnate scores gave the Ro.o.ua team a total of 1400, and Whangai ei 1479, beatir.g the local weam by 79, Rotorua can do much '•etter than this, and have challenged V/hangarei to another match undei vhe same eonditions.
