WIDE POWERS PREPARING FOR SUPPRESSION OF TERRORISM
Rec. Aug. 5, 9.15 p.m. BERLIN, Friday. Further acts of terrorism are reported at Munich and elsewhere. Herr von Papen is resting on his estate, and General von Schleicher is reported to be ahsent on officiai business. The Ministry met and qpproved measures providing special courts empowered with the death psnalty for the suppression of violence and illegal possession of weapons, but withheld promulgation in the hope that terrorism would cease.
