WELLINGTON, Wednesday. A sharp little earthquake occurred at 1.17 this morning. The records at the Dominion Observatory indicate that its original was between 80 and 90 miles distant from Wellington, in a south-westerly direction. This would aceount for the fact that Blenheim felt the shake fairly severely, The ground during the quake tilted to the south.
