CROWD ALARMED

ESCAPED LIONESS CAUSES SCATTER ON CONEY ISLAND. NEW YORK, July 21. Sheba, a lioness, escaped from her cage in Luna Park, Coney Island, late yesterday, causing panic among the the erowd. Attendants armed with poles and h'ooks drove the beast under the superstructure of a scenic railway, whene they held her at bay until another method of capture could be devised. Then she was returned to her cage.
