BOY SCOUTS
BADGES PRESENTED AT LAST FRIDAY'S PARADE The usual weekly meeting of the Rotorua Boy Scouts was held at headquarters last Friday night when 41 boys were present under Scoutmaster T. C. Hawkins. First class badges were presented to Patrol-leaders C. Kingsland and K. Musgrave and Scout L. Adams, who also received his Cook's Badgi. Second Class badges were /presented to Scouts G. Orsler, F. Postleweight, 0. Donaldson, T. Worrall, J. Kurney, and H> Dansey. There are still a number of boys away owing to sickness, and it is
hoped they will be on parade next Friday as the Scoutmaster is anxious for the senior boys to gain pi'oficiency badges. Further instructior. was given in Second and First Class work. The troop is indebted to Mrs Blomfield for the gift of a No. 5 football her action being highly appreciated. On Duty, Scoutmaster T. C. Hawkins, Patrol-leader Cecil Kingsland.'
