FURTHER SELECTIONS FOR TEAM TO TOUK ANTIPODES

LONDON, Saturday. It is officially announced that R. W. V. Robins (Middlesex), F. R. Brown (Surre-y), R. E. S. Wyatt (Warwickshire) , Nawab of Pataudi (Marylebone), G. O. Allen (Middlesex), H. Larwood (Nottingham) , and W. Voce (Nottingham) have been invited to go to Australia and New Zealand with the English touring team next summer. D. R. Jardine (Surrey), who will captain the side, K. S. Duleepsinhji (Sussex), H. Sutcliffe (Yorkshire)f W. R. Hammond (Gloucestershire), G. Duckworth (Lancashire) , and L. G. Ames (Ke-nt) were invited previously. The three remaining members of the team will be announced later. The capacity of the side might besummarised as powerful in batting fielding and wicket-keeping, while its bowling is somewhat problematical but potentially good sound and orthodox if uninspiring in leadership.
