YARDINGS AT CAMBRIDGE, FRANKTON AND WESTFIELD. AUCKLAND QUOTATIONS. AUCKLAND, Wednesday. The N.Z. Loan and Mercantile Agency Coy., Ltd., reports as follows on its Westfield sale to-day: — Beef cattle came forward in less than average numbers, and the dernand was keen. Values were very firm, at last week's advanced rates. We quote: — Prime ox, 14/- to 20/- per hundred pounds; cow and heifer beef, 12/- to 20/-; prime steers, £5/10/- to £9; cows and heifers, £2/10/- to £6/10/-. Sheep were in smaller numbers, and values were again better by 1/per head. Prime wethers brought 12/- to 17/3; ewes, 7/- to 12/-; lambs, 9/- to 14/-. Calves: Average yarding came forward, and values improved. Runners brought £2 to £3/4/-; vealers £1/10/- . to £2/12/-. Pigs were in small numbers and porkers improved £1/3/to £1/7/-. Baconers were firm and brought £1/18/- to £2/9/-. AUCKLAND, Wednesday. Messrs. Dalgety and Co. report as follows on their Westfield sale held to-day : — An extra choice selection of ox beef came forward, averaging 21/-. We quote: Prime young cow heifer to 19/-. Calves advanced in prices. Runners brought to £2/14/-, and heavy vealers to £2/12/-. Sheep: Heavy prime wethers to 15/-, others 13/9 to 11/-; heavy prime ewes to I'l/-, others 8/9 to 6/-; lambs, heavy prime, to 12/6; others 10/9 to 7/6.
