PLAY READING
"THE GREAT AD VENTURE." A play dealing with the complications of a matrimonial agency marciage, "The Great Adventure," by Arnold Bennet, was the drama read by the afternoon literary circle of the Rotorua Women's Club, which met at the home of Mrs; H Bertram on ruesday. The afternoon was ideal for play:eading, being cold and bleak withiut, and a cheery log fire added the inal touch to a very enjoyable afterioon. The readers present were: — Mrs. H. 3ertram, Mrs. S. Wallis, Mrs. Stewart, drs. H. Davis, Mrs. B. M. Greene, Miss I". Bertram, Miss J. Hodgson, Miss 1. Ford, Miss G. La Trobe Hill. Also >resent were: — Mrs. A. Brown, Miss 3, Evans and Miss Erima Bertram.
