LANGUAGE OF A SMILE
Why the importance of a smile? Because it is reflected in ourselves. Smiles are the sunlight, and frowns the clouds of daily intercourse. We react happily to a smile and unhappily to the scowl. The smileless girl is like a landscape beneath a covered sky. The smile conveys to us that the sun has come out from behind the clouds, the earth warms, every thing is right with us, so let us be happy. It is cheerfulness. It is interest of the moment, a welcome, and a promissory note of happiness to be. It kindles hope and friendship and has a swcetness and spontaneity ali its own. It has the most wonderful illuminating effect upon the face, and radiates its warmth and cheeriness to all around us. "Smile, and the world smiles with you; weep, and you weep alone." Isn't a smile worth while? MARY ANNE
