CUBAN REVOLT

COMMUNISTS AND POLICE FIGHT PITCHED BATTLE. HAVANA, Tuesday. Seven were killed and 6 wounded when the police, dressed as civilians, engaged in a pitched battle with Communists. One of the victims was Esteban Delgada, the outlaw leader, who led an assault last Wednesday, when two fortress officials were killed. Julia and Reta Portenza, Cuba's leading women Communists, were mortally wounded on Friday, when a bomb made in their home, exploded.
