VISITGR'S opinion of n.z. c0-qp. marketing system.

By Telegraph— Copyright)

WELLINGTON, Monday. The importance of the co-opera-tive system of mai'keting was stressed by Dr. Warboys, who arrived today on a business trip to Australia and New Zealand. "I think New Zealand leads the Empire in co-operative marketing, which includes the grading of agriculrural produce. That is more important as it is one of the weakest things in the British agricultural system. "England's spring lamb is as good as meat anywhere in the world, but I buy New Zealand lamb. It is cheaper and I buy it because it is always good." Dr. Warboys said that in England the co-operative system was being introduced for marketing, but it was not compulsory. Co-operative marketing was always the most highly developed, but it was more difficult to develop in the case of mixed farming.
