WALTER LINDLEY MEEK.

WELLINGTON, Monday. The death of Walter Lindley Meek, a founder of the firm of Meek and Company, merchants, took place this morning. Mr. Meek was born in 1861, and was the eldest son of Mr. W. H. Meek, who was formerly well lcnown in commereial circles in Wellington. He was educated at the old Grammar School at Clifton Terrace, and at Wellington College. He is sur.vived by his widow, one son, two daughters, and five grandchildren.
