AUCKLAND, Saturday. Described as a sehool teacher, Reginald Richard Joseph Jenkin, aged 21, was charged in the Police Court yesterday with forging the name of I. R. Sherwood to a cheque for £27 10s, with intent that it should be acted upon as if it were genuine, and with stealing- an overcoat valued at £2, the property of R. Bedford. Accused was remanded for a week | bail of £100 being allowed.
