GOODS TRAIN LEAVES RAILS NEAR FEILDING

FEILDING, Friday. Fourteen trucks of a goods train were derailed at Kakariki at 1.45 a.m. and caused a stoppage of all train services on the Main Trunk and Taranaki lines. Passengers by the da\yn Main Trunk were transferred to Feilding for despatch. It is expected that the line will be clear by mid-day.
