GRAND THEATRE.

TO-NIGHT, Big League baseball provides thrills, adventure, romance and comedy for "Hot Curves," the Tiffany all-talking picture which opens to-night at the Grand Theatre, with Benny Rubin and Pert Kelton teamed for the laughs, and Rex Lease and Alice Day providing the leading romantic interest. "Hot Curves" has more laughs than Don Bradman has runs. Its fun is irresistible in itself and Benny Rubin with Pert Kelton keeping step with her particular comedy brand is as funny as only this Jewish tonguetwister can be. If he threw a ball as fast as he talked he would have baseball tied in knots. "Hot Curves" is as snappy as its title suggests and even more entertaining. Others of the cast also giving excellent performances are Paul Hurst, Natalie Moorh'ead, John Ince, Mike Donlin and Mary Carr.
