On Wednesday afternoon an_ O.D.H.S. old girls' team was success- • ful in defeating the present girls at basketball by 10 — 9. • This was very encouraging to tbe old pupils, as this was their first win. The old girls have challenged . the Whakatane old girls, and the match. will be played at Whakatane on July 27. The team going to Whakatane is: Goals, K. Jephson, M. Day, G. - Stewart; centre, K.
