dominion's balance of trade for past half-year

WELLINGTON, Tuesday. Overseas trade figures for New Zealand for the month of June, 1932, compared with the corresponding period last year (in parenthesis) are as follows: Exports from New Zealand £2,605,112 (£2,714,710), Imports into New Zealand, £1,866,946 (£1,809779). For the six monthly period ended June, 1932 the figures are: Exports from New Zealand, £22,178,521 (£21,784.976). Imports into New Zealand £11,165,823 (£12,915,305). The values shown for exports are ioclared f.o.b. values in terms of New Zealand currency, while the imports are valued on the basis of values in the exporting countries, plus 10 per cent.
