FILM FOR BLUE BATHS
TALKING PICTURE TO BE PHOTOGRAPHED THIS MORNING PUBLIC INVIITED TO ATTEND The public of Rotorua will be given an opportunity to-day of assisting the Tourist and Publicity Department to advance the claims of the district as a tourist attraction to countrie s overseas. At 11 a.m. a talking picture in colour will be taken at the Blue Baths to be included in a publicity film which the department has been taking of the scenic spots of the Dominion for some months, and which on eompletion, will be sent abroad as a feature of a Governnrent publicity campaign. An invitation is extended to th'e public by the District Manager of the Tourist Department (Mr. L. J. Bayfeild) to attend the baths this morn- ! ing at 11 a.m. In order to lend brghtness to the film it is suggested that all batbers wear bright and multi-col- : oured costumes and if possible, pro- - vid'e themselves with sunshades. ( After th'e filming of the baths," it ! is also the intention to take a general - view of the Government grounds and I the public- are invited to assemble in ! front of the Main Bath building in 1 order to add further attractiveness 1 to the film. 1
