(To the Editor.) Sir, — On behalf of the No. 1 Boy Scout Troop committee3, I wish to tender our heartfelt thanlcs to the public of Rotorua for their most generous res'ponsp to our call for assistance. The clothes, goods and money received will gladden the hearts and homes of many of our citizens who are in dire distress. We also wish to thank the R.M. Gompany, the AARD Company, and those members of the Rotary Club who so gladly placed their cars at our disposal which enabled our Scouts to- reach nearly every home. We would also thank the "Morning Po.st" for asgistance in the matter of publicity, the trustees of Lyric Theatre, and all those who so willingly helped to make the drive so successful. . ; • I am, etc.,
