I ' - A team of six members of the Citi- ! zens' Club played a challenge snooker match against a Fi'fe Brigade team at the club-rooms on Tuesday night. A] very interesting evening's play result- ; ed in a win for the club by 806 to 676 ' over a series of three games. After , the match, the club team entertained ] the visitors, and Mr. W. L. Richards 1 welcomed the guests. Mr. Musgrave suitably replied, and invited the club team to a return match at the Fire Brigade station at a later date. The scores were as follows, the i Citizen's Club members being men- 1 tioned first: — L. O'Leary, 70, 74, 37 — 181 beat F. Birch', 30, 20, 27 — 77. ; H. Parata, 57, 32, 47—136 lost to R. j Tucker, 55, 38, 63 — 156. R. Martin- : dale, 33, 30, 37 — 100 lost to H. Balsdon, 42, 27, 46 — 115. W. L. Richards, i 37, 47, 62 — 146 beat T.
