INFORMAL DANCE
EVENING AT BRENT'S. The management of Brent's Bathgate House gave a delightful little informal dance last Friday evening for their guests and Rotorua friends. Dancing1 on such an excellent ballroom fioor never fails to exact praise from the dancers, and ping-pong proved a warm and enjoyable interlude between the dances. Among those present were: — Mrs. Hutton, black lace and flpral georgette; Mrs. C. Hitchcock, brown floral ninon; Mrs. E. G. Guy, black georgette and silver lame; Mrs. A. Walker (Auckland), black georgette and gold tinsel coatee; Mrs. Cox (Auckland-, black lace Mrs Gerald Weir, black ring velvet; Mrs. R. H. Burrett (Auckland), cameo pink georgette; Mrs. MacDonald, wine velvet; Mrs. G. H. Wier (Auckland), black taffeta. Miss Betty McLellan (Auckland), black lace; Miss R. Steele, eau-de-nil silk net; Miss M. Jones, hois de rose crepe de chine; Miss R. Wynne-Brown, black georgette and floral coatee; Miss M.'Snell, cherry lace; Miss 0. Dawson, ivory satin; Miss E. Jones, powder blue floral georgette; Miss D. Davis, primrose satin. *
