HAMILTON, Wednesday. Messrs. Dalgety and Company report having held their usual weekly stock sale at Frankton saleyards on Tuesday, 12th July, as under: — Fat sheep: A moderate yarding. Prices were on a par with last week's rates. Prime heavy wethers to 13/-; light prime wethers, 12/9; indifferent quality wethers, 9/- to 11/-; extra prime ewes to 8/6; average fat ewes, 7/-; light, 5/6; fat lambs sold at from 8/6 to 11/-. Fat cattle. A moderate yarding. Fat bullocks sold at late rates, while very prime cows and heifers sold at a slight advance on late rates. We sold light 2-year old steers at up to £3/15/-; fat heifers at iip to £4/12/-. On account of Mr. E. WR. Leslie — average two trucks, £3/10/-; ordinary quality fat cows, £2/4/- ■/) £2/15/-; boners, 14/- to 20/-; small vealers, 21/- to 24/-. Store sheep: Woolly hoggets, 5/7; shorn hoggest, 5/7; M.A. ewes in lamb, 10/3. Pigs: A very small yarding of fat and store pigs came forward. There was no demand for baconers, but porkers improved on last week's value, owing to the small yarding. Best porkers,. £1/7/- to £1/10/-; medium porkers, £1 to £1/5/-; light porkers, 17/- to 19/-; stores, 14/to 17/-; slips, 8/- to 15/-; best weaners, 16/-; others, 8/- to 12/-; rougher sorts, 2-/6, 3/-, 4/6. Sows in pig, £3 to £3/10/-.
