THREAT OF STRIKE FQLLOWS DISTURBANCES AT CHARLERQI

Rec. July 12, 8.30 p.m. BRUSSELS, Tuesday. Between 150 and 200 arrests were made at Charleroi. The General Socialist Council to-day, will consider a proposal to declare a general strike throughout the country. Recent messages reported serious rioting at Charleroi where unemployed and strikers engaged in a pitched battle with the police.
