Rec. July 12, 8.10 p.m. TRUJILLO, Monday. The north Peruvian cities seized last week by rebels were reeaptured by the Government tq-day in an attack by land, sea and air f orces. There were numerous losses on both sides. An unconfirmed despatch states that many prominent pitizens were slain by the rebels who put them in gaol upon taking over the city last Thursday, while an official report states that loyal troops were lynched.
