The Union made every advance possible to reach an amicable settlement, but Mr. Hoult defied them. | If the match is played on the school ; ground on Saturday, the union has no i alternative but to suspend all of the secondary school players which will also involve th'e Hamilton boys. a special meeting of the union last night decided that the time for conciliation had passed, and it will take drastic action if Mr. Hoult's defiance persists.
