THAMES HIGH SCHOOL game to be played in defiance of order headmaster's attitude thames, Friday. a unique position has arisen in the Thames Rugby cireles which' is likely to have a far_ reaching effect upon secondary school Rugby throughout the province. The head-master of the Thames high School (Mr. W. H. Hoult) has arranged a match with Hamilton High School contrary to the wishes of the Thames Rugby Union, declaring that he is not subject to the jurisdiction of the union. The Union made every advance possible to reach an amicable settlement, but Mr. Hoult defied them. | If the match is played on the school ; ground on Saturday, the union has no i alternative but to suspend all of the secondary school players which will also involve th'e Hamilton boys. a special meeting of the union last night decided that the time for conciliation had passed, and it will take drastic action if Mr. Hoult's defiance persists.
