carterton man fined for dangerous driving.

MASTERTON, Thursday. As a result of a collision on the Carterton Road last night, Sidney Arthur Bishop was arrested and charged at the Court to-day with having been drunk while in charge of a motor car. He was fined £10. 'It was stated by the police that accused had heen convicted four times previously for drunkenness, but not while in charge of a car. On a further charge of dangerous driving he was convicted.
