Paid His Fare.
By remitting to the Transport Commission 4d in payment of his fare for crossing the Sydney Harbour Bridge on Anzac Day, a resident of Stanmore contributed the first "eonscience money," received for this purpose, says the Sydney "Daily Telegraph." In a covering letter to the Commission the. remitter stated that the evasion of .the fare was unintentional.
