A Strenuous Breakfast.
"What do you want?" demanded a member of a hospital board not a hundred miles from Stratford, as he confronted the tramp at the door of his house. "Breakfast or work?" "Both, sir," replied the tramp. ."Righto!" said the board member, and he disappeared into the house. Presently, he returned, carrying a large piece of his wife's home-made bread. "Then eat that," he. exclaimed savagely, "and you'll have both!"
