BOLTING HORSE

HAMILTON, Friday. | A bolting horse in Commerce Street Frankton, this aftex-noon, caused a mild sensation, and did a fair amount of damage. A horse and cart owned by Mr. W. Morrow, butchex*, of Frankton, and drivexx by his son, Mr. G. Morrow, was proceeding along Kent Street. When approaching Commerce Street the aninxal shied and breaking the hit, bolted. The - driver was dislodged. In attempting to turn the corner the horse skidded, thexx, galloping on to the f ootpath, and erashed thrqugh a large plate-g'lass window of J. McCreash, draper. The horse was cut badly hy the glass and dashed for home bleeding profusely. It jumped. the fence at hoxne, the cart remaining outside. The animal was discovered to be badly injured and was immediately shot. There were not many people about at the tixne and no one was injured.
