CARD EVENING

A very pleasant card evening was held recently at the home of Mrs. C. Hambly, at Kukumoa. Flag 500, which appears to be very popular just now, was played, the winners being Mrs. Looney and Mr. Hambly, and Mr. R. Looney and Miss M. Kirkbride. Booby pruzes were won by Mrs. L. Looney and Miss T. Hambly. Mrs. Hambly received her guests in a charming frock of black crepe satin and a stylish bridge coat of black satin with white panels to the elbow. A very pleasant evening was concluded by the playing of games after supper.
