The Farmers' Co-operative Auctioneering Company, Ltd., report: — At Frankton sale on Tuesday we had a medium yarding of fat sheep with only a few pens of prime quality. Prices remained much the same as last week's quotations. There was an extra heavy yarding of ox beef with a full yarding of cow and heifer beef- Prices all round were on a par with recent quotations. A small yarding of pigs came forward, baconers being dull of sale while porkers showed a slight improvement. Quotations: — Prime fat wethers, 13/6 to 14/8; medium, 11/- to 12/6;
fat maiden ewes, 9/10; killable ewes, ; 4/6 to 5/6; light fat lambs, 8/6 to j 10/-; vealers £2/12/-; light fat steers £3/18- to £4/8/-, unfinished steers, ; £3/2- to £3/12-; prime fat cows •£3/2- to £3/7/6; prime fat heifers £3/3/- to £3/11/-; medium fat cows, j £2 to £2/16/-; medium fat heifers, i 39/- to £2/15/-; light cows, 27/6 : to 35/-; store cows, 10/- to 15/-; medium baconers, 34/- to 36/-; heavy porkers and light baconers, 26/- to 30/-; medium porkers, 23/- to 26/light porkers, 18/- to 22/-; stores, 13/- to 15/-; slips, 5/- to 8/-.
