PARLIAMENT PROROGDED

WELLINGTON, Thursday. A Gazette extraordinary published to-night further prorogued Parliament from July 7 to August 25. The Pjririte Minister,' the Rt. Hon. G. W. Forbes, stated to-day in coiinection with the delegation's visit to Ottawa, that the Public Works and Transport porffolios will probably be transferred to the Minister of Agriculture, Hon. C. E. Macmillan, instead of Hon. E. A. Ransom. He himself will talie Finance and, Customs; Sir A. Ngata, the Attorney-Generalship ; and Hon. A. Hamilton, Unemployment.
