AUSTIN CARS
ROTORUA AGENCY WIDE RANGE OF MODELS Messrs Spedding and Co. have much pleasure in announcing that they have secured the Austin agency for the Rotorua district: Austin cars are the most popular in New Zealand today, and these dependable British products topped the saies in the Dominion for the month of May. - In England, the popularity of the car is illustrated by the fact that one car in every four is an Austin. One car of remarkable perf ormance has recently been added to the Austin range. This is the ten. horse power, four cylinder model which is not an over grown "Baby" nor yet a scaled down job, but is an entirely new member of the family, ranking between the famous seven and the equally well laiown twelve-six. Its speeial frame gives it low floor level, with unusual head room and plenty of leg space. Gear changing is simplified hy a new twin top, four speed gear box, and the silent third makes driving a pleasure. Other features, are a wheel base of 7 ft. 9 ins. and four generously made doors. The saloon model has a de-luxe finish with genuine hand buffed leather upholstery. Advance models are now in New Zealand and regular shipments are being booked welhaKeacl. No other manufacturer offers so large a range of dependable cars, from the diminutive Seven tourer at £195 to the Seven Yan, the Seven Saloon on new long wheel base chassis at £208, the Seven De Luxe model at £227, the Ten-Four Saloon at £289, the Twelve-Six Saloon at £349, the Sixteen Windsor Saloon at £498, and the Austin Twenty, six cylinder Saloon car at £760. Messrs Spedding and Co. invite visitors to the Show to inspect their All British exhibit of Austin cars and Bedford trucks. (Published by arrangement) . i-
