SAVED FROM BAILIFFS
— By TelegraDh — CnpyrlghC4
Rec. June 22, 7.15 p.m. LONDON, Wednesday. Mr. de Valera's Government is much criticised because, after adhering to its refusal to pay land annuities to Great Britain, it continued to press farmers to pay these to the Free State. It is now announced that no farmers will be pressed for pay*ment of arrears to the end of 1931. The Government will also grant a temporary moratorium for land annuities and thus save naany from the bailiffs.
