The absence of a reservation in the Statute of Westminster entitles the Irish Free State to repeal the oath legally, deelared Lord Parmoor, and the treaty obligation 110 longer has original force. Lord Parmoor, K.C., P.C., who was Lord President of the Council in Mr Ramsay MacDonald's Labour Cabinet, is a judicial member of the Privy Council, being speeially appointed thereto in 1914. He is also AttorneyGeneral to the Prinee of Wales to which office he was appointed in 1895, and reappointed in 1911 and 1912.
