TRAFFIC WITH PRISONERS
WELLINGTON, Tuesday. In the Mag-istfate's Court, Miehael Dodd, seaman, aged 34 years, was fined £2 for attempting to deliver half a tin of tobacco and a packet of cigarette papers to prisoners at Mt. Crawford prison. Dodd was seen to throw the tin of tobacco to a gang- of prisoners.
