AUCKLAND, Monday. The famous fighter and capableair pilot, William Lawrence Stribling, contender for the world's heavy-weight title, arrived by the Monterey, en route to Australia under a five months' eontract with thej National Sporting Club, of Australia. He gave a series of exhibitions in the Town Hall to-day. Stribling feels certain that Schmelling will beat Sharkey in New York on Tuesday night.
