LEAP YEAR BALL
WAIOEKA FUNCTION. U Last Wednesday evening a Leap | Year Ball was held in the hall at Wai- ' oeka. The Dixie Boys' orchestra was i in attendance and an excellent supper was provided. In spite of wet weather there were quite a number present, some of the Iadies being: — Mesdames Parkinson, Powell, T. O'Sullivan, Boon, Misses N. Johnson, L. Hartshorne, I. Cox, C. Lees, L. Lees, M. Looney, B. Short, N. Tyrie, D. Voss, McCallum, Hogg and H. Tee.
