INVERCARGILL, Friday. It is understood that negotiations between the Southland sawmillers and a big English motor body building firm for the supply of approxiinately 9,000,000 f-eet of silver beech, have advanced a further stage. A definite order for a sample of the timber has been placed hy the English firm, and the consignment is expected to leave Southland next week.
