OUTBREAK IN PRUDENTIAL INSURANCE COY. BUILDING

Rec. June 17, 5-.5 p.m. RUGBY, Thursday. At Holborn, a great crowd watched a strong force of firemen engaged from the tops of water towers and escapes, during an outbreak of a fire at the offiees of the Prudential Insurance Company. A large part of the office staff of 400 was withdrawn within two minutes of the alarm. The fire originated in part of the building under re-construction. Practically all the documents were saveli and no one was hurt, and only slight damage was done to the building.
