Rec. June 16, 5.5 p.m. APIA, Wednesday. Mr. A. W. Johnston, member of the Samoan Legislativc Council, died today. Mr, Johnston arrived in Samoa with the military in 1916, and was for 12 years with the Burns Philp Shipping Company. For the last two years he had heen State Inspeetor. He was elected a member of the Legislative Council in Novewher, 1929.
