another lang minister unseated by 1000 votes

Rec. June 16, 12.10 a.m. j SYDNEY, Wednesday. The only noteworthy incident in onnection with t-he eleetion is the nnouncement of the official figures or Goulbourn, where Mr. Tully, ormer Minister of Lands in the Lang lovernment, has been defeated by h\ Loughlin by 1000 votes. This is a case of history repeatng itself. Mr. Tully was Minister >f Lands in 1925 in the first Lang iovernment which was wrecked by 'arty defections, among whom was h\ Loughlin, who has now been reurned as a United Australia member.
