Last week, the Rotorua Rangers eelebrated their first birthday. They met as usual in their Den where they , made merry in real ranger fashion. | Guide songs and rounds filled a great deal of the programme, while one miriute speeches on all kinds of subjects proved a popular item. At nine. q'clock an adjournment was made to the "Dolly Varden," where the Rangers were the guests of Commissioner Miss Harris at supper. Mrs. Coates, Divisional Secretary, Miss Robinson and Thiss Worrall, Captain of the Guides, were also present at the party. A happy evening concluded with the Rangers giving three eheers for the Commissioner, and everyone joining in the singing of "Auld Lang Syne" and "Taps". * I
