PARIS DISCUSSIONS

— By TelegraDh — Copyrlght).

Rec. June 3, 7.15 p.m. PARIS, Monday. M. Herriot, Mr. Ramsay MacDonald and Sir John Simon sat many hours in discussion during the week-end, and it is believed that they have done much to clarify the situation regarding Lausanne. A communique issued states that the talks have shown a community of views permitting us to foresee just and efiicacious solutions of the problems of Lausanne. It is understood that one of the first problems will be the prolongation of the present moratorium until after the American presidential elections. Secondly the armament holiday for a period of one year will be accompanied by a reduction by all countries in theii' defence budget.
