SURPRISE PARTY
TO MISS.L. REECE A pleasant surprise party was , taken to the horne of Mis? L. Reece ! on Friday night to farewell her be- ! fore her forthcoming marriage which takes place on Wednesday next. . The members of the party were Misses J. Wilson, P. Todd, J. Todd, B. Short, L. Reece, M. Reece, and ! Mrs. Morris. A very pleasant evening was passed with games, cards, and knit- j ting. Miss J. Todd presented Miss Reece j with a set of stainless table knives, ; : and in the course of a short speech , ' wishecl her happiness in the future. I Miss Reece will reside in Te Kuiti j after her marriage.
