Rec. June 7, 7.0 p.m. LONDON, Tuesday. There are persistent reports contending that Germany will default on her commercial debts unless relief is afforded by the Lausanne Conference. The City of London is prepared for this eventuality. Major Elliot, financial Secretary to tbe Treasury, in his answer in the House of Commons, says that Germany's total payments to June 1931 to the Allies and associated Governments for reparations and the cost of the Army of Occupation, were £1,010, 000,000 at par exchange.
