Rec. June 7, 7.0 p.m. LONDON, Tuesday. Mr. J. II. Thomas, Secretary of state for the Dominions, before leavng Euston, said: "I am going to Ireand full of hope and I am clearly onscious of my responsibilities. Mr. Cosgrave, in an interview said t would appear that Mr. de Valera lad adopted the policy of the Opposiion. "We have all along recommend;d negotiations," he said. The Daily Telegraph said that the Iritish Government is anxious that he Free State should remain within he British Commonwealth and is prejared to embark on negotiations in a 'riendly spirit.
