Alarm is expressed in foreign business quarters. ! Da Vila declared: "We niust get Dhili from under tlie yolce of capitalsm, whether foreign or domestic, )ut chiefly of foreign denomination." Foreigners say they expeet whole;ale seizure of properties particularly >ublic utilities. Most of the indus;ries are British and Anierican, but the Germans and French have large Interests.
